Environmentally Responsible
Environmentally responsible printing reduces its impact on the environment by:
Minimizing/eliminating Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from the printing process.
Removing chemically-tainted waste water from plate making and conventional printing.
Utilizing Recycled and / or Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Paper.
Using vegetable-based inks for offset printing, eliminating almost all the VOCs in the ink.
Using non-toxic, biodegradable, dry toner for digital printing.
As an environmentally conscious company, Mark Printing & Graphics is continually looking for ways to reduce our overall footprint. We use recyclable and recycled paper, vegetable-based inks, and we recycle all our paper scrap. These combined practices all lead to a measurable decrease in natural resource usage and safer waste control practices. All our paper supply merchants and mills are affiliated with one or more the sustainable resource organizations, such as the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) or Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI). Making the environment safe and clean for future generations is critical, we always encourage the use of recycled papers.
